We have an active and growing student division. We meet for social gatherings several times a year, advocate for important legislation that benefits students, and help inform students about the opportunities available through NFB at the local and national level.

NFBMA scholarship program

The National Federation of the Blind of Massachusetts proudly announces its Scholarship Program for 2017. Every year we recognize the accomplishments of blind men and women who strive to achieve academic excellence in their chosen fields of study and who are also active participants in their communities by awarding several scholarships. The NFBMA will award up to 3 $1,000.00 scholarships to deserving legally blind full-time students. In addition, a $1,000.00 scholarship is available to full or part-time students who reside in the Springfield area.

If you are a legally blind student already enrolled in college, or if you will be attending college in 2017 and are either legally blind or require the services of a TVI, we urge you to apply for one of our scholarships.
